How to differentiate between a regular and Pro hosting account

  knowledgebase  :: network status

Our hosting accounts currently come in two flavours - regular and Pro. The two types have a number of technical differences, so if you're seeking an answer to a technical question, ensure you know which type of account you're using.

Differentiating between the two is easy:

  • Does your POP3 or IMAP username have an @-sign in it? If it does - you have a Pro hosting account. You can check your POP3/IMAP username in the settings of your email software.
  • Does your site show a login page when you try and access webmail at https://www.yourdomain.com:2096/? If it does - you have a Pro hosting account. You can check this using any web browser.

You can also check your invoice, which details the type of hosting account you purchased.
