When registering a domain, the following notes apply:

• .uk domains can only be registered for a two-year period
• .name domains can be registered for a one-year period, and to a maximum of two years
• All other domains must be registered for a minimum of a two-year period, and can be registered for up to ten years.

When transferring a domain, the following notes apply:

• A £15 transfer fee is charged
• 1 year will be added to the period remaining before the domainname expires (eg. you get an extra year's registration for free)
