About the Blazingfibre credits scheme
Q: Is my balance rolled over from month-to-month, automatically?
A: Yes!
Q: Do my credits ever expire?
A: No, there is no time-limit on when they can be used.
Q: How can I track my balance?
A: Each month, a statement is emailed to each customer, detailing the your balance, and any transactions you had during the month.
Q: What is the value of 1 credit?
A: £1. This means that for every positive credit you have, you can claim a discount of one pound.
Q: Can I choose when my credits are used?
A: Yes. By default, we will automatically deduct as much as possible from your next invoice. Use the change Accumulation setting form to change this.
Q: Can I use my credits to claim a discount against an existing invoice?
A: No, sorry. A discount may only be claimed at the time the invoice is generated.
Q: Are my credits transferrable to cash?
A: No, sorry. You may only use your credits to pay for additional services.
Q: Is it possible to lose credits?
A: Yes, if an invoice is unpaid on the date it is due, credits will be deducted. See your Terms of Service for more information.
Q: What does it mean if I have a negative balance?
A: If you lose credits due to non-payment, and as a result your credit balance goes negative, you will not be able to claim a discount until you return your credit balance to positive.
Q: How do I return my credit balance to positive?
A: You need to earn the equivalent amount of credits, by paying early, or by paying electronically, for example. Say you earned 20 credits by paying an invoice early. If your balance is -10 credits at the time, it will become 10 credits. You will then be able to use these 10 credits to claim a discount on a future invoice.
Q: May I assign my credits to another party?
A: Yes, you may.
Q: Do my credits earn interest?
A: Not yet, however this feature may be added in the future.
Q: Is there anything I may not purchase with my credits?
A: Domainnames, SSL certificates, and hardware cannot be purchased using credits.
