About the Blazingfibre credits scheme

Early Bird rewards  :: e-payment rewards  :: referral program  :: credits scheme

Q: What can I do with a positive credit balance?
A: You can claim a discount on almost any future purchase with us - including onsite support, website development, and software purchases. Note that domain names, SSL certificates, 30-day accounts (of any description) and hardware may not be purchased using credits. Everything else, however, is eligible.

Q: How can I earn credits?
A: You can earn credits by paying your invoice early - see the Early Bird rewards page for more on this. You can also earn credits by paying your invoice electronically - see the e-payment rewards page for more on this. And, you can earn credits by referring customers to us - see the referral program page for more on this.

Q: Is my balance rolled over from month-to-month, automatically?
A: Yes!

Q: Do my credits ever expire?
A: No, there is no time-limit on when they can be used.

Q: How can I track my balance?
A: Each month, a statement is emailed to each customer, detailing the your balance, and any transactions you had during the month.

Q: What is the value of 1 credit?
A: £1. This means that for every positive credit you have, you can claim a discount of one pound.

Q: Can I choose when my credits are used?
A: Yes. By default, we will automatically deduct as much as possible from your next invoice. Use the change Accumulation setting form to change this.

Q: Can I use my credits to claim a discount against an existing invoice?
A: No, sorry. A discount may only be claimed at the time the invoice is generated.

Q: Are my credits transferrable to cash?
A: No, sorry. You may only use your credits to pay for additional services.

Q: Is it possible to lose credits?
A: Yes, credits will be deducted from your account, at a rate of 7.5% of the invoice total, if an invoice is unpaid on the date it is due. Credits will also be deducted from your account, at a rate of 7.5% of the invoice total, every 30-day period the invoice remains unpaid.

Q: What does it mean if I have a negative balance?
A: If you lose credits due to non-payment, and as a result your credit balance goes negative, you will not be able to claim a discount until you return your credit balance to positive.

Q: Will I be invoiced for a negative balance?
A: No. However, we do reserve the right to charge late payment fees, at our discretion, as detailed in our Terms of Service.

Q: How do I return my credit balance to positive?
A: You need to earn the equivalent amount of credits, by paying early, or by paying electronically, for example. Your balance will turn positive when the number of credits you have earned is greater than the number of credits you have lost. Say you earned 20 credits by paying an invoice early. If your balance is -10 credits at the time, it will become 10 credits. You will then be able to use these 10 credits to claim a discount on a future invoice.

Q: May I assign my credits to another party?
A: Yes, you may.

Q: Do my credits earn interest?
A: Not yet, however this feature may be added in the future.

Q: I still don't get it, where can I read more about this type of system?
A: Our credits scheme is a loyalty program. Please see the linked Wikipedia page for more information.
